Milanese furniture design house De Padova continues its tradition of mixing modern Scandinavian-inspired design with Italian hand craftsmanship and warmth in its new home collection. Presented at 2014 Milan's Salone del Mobile, the collection brings the house's storied modern lines and comforting color palette to the urbane sophisticate. Highlights of the new collection include the Mimic component sofa designed by Monica Förster, the Chesto armchair by Patrick Norguet and Smeralda, by Anna von Schewen. The new pieces were  brought to life at the house's showroom in Corso Venezia, with an artistic layer by artist Jo Ann Tann entitled "Textile Rain," where drops of padded fabric highlighted the house's focus on experiential fluidity.
