Belvest, for the courtly gentleman

Luxury menswear designer and manufacturer Belvest takes the traveling man as his inspiration for their new Spring/Summer 2014 collection. "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes," said Marcel Proust whose quote is cited as part of the inspiration for the house's seasonal point of view. The collection consists of their trademark tailored suits and blazers in high quality fabrics such as their two-tone mix in wool-silk-wool, their ultra-fine cashmere, and their storied "summer vicuna," coupled with silk. The collection is topped by shirts and cardigans all carrying their trademark "just fabric and thread," philosophy and a color palette inspired by the hues of spring and summer. The collection continues the tradition of sartorial craftsmanship of this storied house founded in 1964 in Piazzola sul Brenta.
